The Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus is a robotic pool vacuum cleaner that can climb the walls of your pool to scrub not only the bottom of your pool but also the sides (no matter what shape or type of pool you have). While the Dolphin had a methodical approach to cleaning the pool, we didn’t notice a specific pattern for the Aiper. I do not have a salt system but I have had a pool for 23 years now and the pool is 16x32 and I am very happy that I purchased the Dolphin. Also, the Premier model weighs in a full 15 pounds (for a total of 37) over the Nautilus unit, and I wouldn’t like lugging that extra weight.

Rather than rely on wheels, like our previous unit, this model moves by harnessing the power of its textured brushes, which grab dirt off the pool walls.It left our testing pool spotless—eliminating sand, silt, and leaves—and even managed to climb steep 90-degree walls. If you do experience any issues, the pool-cleaning bot also has a two-year warranty but will likely last much longer with proper care.

In addition, you can get disposable filter bags so you can just toss ‘em in the trash when you’re done. The display screen can be programmed for three different weekly cleaning intervals by pushing the “1,” “2,” or “3” buttons, which stand for once a day, every other day, or twice a week. I rely entirely on the Dolphin to vacuum and scrub the pool from season open to close and, in three years, it has never let me down. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it was broken as there was no beep to let me know it had finished, and there was no clear sign on the panel either. However, the cleaner can be kept in the pool between cleanings and be programmed to clean on a regular basis. If you are lucky enough to have your own swimming pool, I highly recommend you invest in a Dolphin pool cleaner.
