Everytime I wear this perfume, I think of the music that featured in the commercial that first came out in 2010: 'Arrival of the Birds by the Cinematic Orchestra'.I never really finish perfume bottles especially after a week of getting them, so you know this is a special one. It has pretty moderate lasting power on me, I don't struggle with the performance as much as some other people do. An enlivening scent that opens with heady notes of crushed Mint Leaves, Limone Primo Fiore, and Aquatic Green Accord. There is a refreshing breeze, you can smell the salty sea, your expensive sunscreen and your cocktail.

Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia Eau de Parfum is a sensuous fresh women’s perfume with top notes of crushed mint leaves, limone primo flore; heart notes of jasmine and aquatic notes, combined with the base notes of cedarwood heart, brown sugar and labdanum to create a truly feminine moderate to long lasting perfume. This is a beautiful summer fragrance, it’s so fresh with a lovely sweetness but unfortunately it doesn’t last on my skin at all. Although I’ve never had the pleasure of smelling ‘water jasmine’ in person, this sweet soft floral smell could not be more aptly named.

Gotta try it on skin, but it might be worth repurchasing instead of Wood Sage and Sea Salt if the longevity is better.

I can definitely detect the mint but I think that’s because I’m a bartender so I’m always garnishing my drinks with mint leaves.Fresh in the beginning, mint note is gone in a second unfortunately, but aquatic feelings stays on pretty long. Acqua di Gioia was created by three perfumers: Loc Dong, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, who see it as Eve's seduction and as fragrance turned completely towards the nature. Today I finally tested it and fell in love with it's strong, fresh aquatic nature which has no stingy, sharp notes in it, no melon and no water lily (I am tired of those). Other reviewers say this smells like a mojito, but it smells more like a mojito that has spilled on one's sundress and dried in the sun.
