Whether you need a reliable pen for everyday writing or creative endeavors, the Muji Gel ink pen is a popular choice. The pens coped better with these highlighters compared to the Mildliner, but the Zebra Sarasa was the only pen with no smudging at all. I’ve read somewhere that the Muji notebooks that can handle fountain pens quite well are the ones that are labelled “made in Japan” (some notebooks, especially the pocket sizes, are made somewhere else.
