Description

Ever since 1958, LEGO bricks have met the highest industry standards, which ensures they are consistent and connect and pull apart easily every time – no need to use the Force! But I think we will all agree anyway to conclude that the AAT is here only to serve as a pretext to sell us a new version of Ahsoka Tano and provide us with a Clone Trooper of the 332nd. I’m pretty sure we’ll see lots of different versions from here on, but this is a good basis, no matter what. The cannon itself is just a series of Technic axle connectors and another antenna, but it works well and it doesn’t droop down despite its length. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

Though five different versions of Ahsoka were made in Lego form, somewhat surprisingly, this Ahsoka is only one (of two versions) that does not have freakish Clone Wars art-style printing. What looks okay from the front such as the big curved armored hull quickly falls apart when viewed from its rear side. Battle Droid conflicts from Star Wars: The Clone Wars with this awesome Armored Assault Tank (AAT) LEGO building toy for kids (75283). In this final season of The Clone Wars, Ahsoka is accompanied onto the battlefield of the planet Mandalore by members of the 501st clone legion who had painted their helmets in her likeness out of respect. The other big highlight of this set is the 332nd Company Trooper, who, so far, is only available in this set.Kids can enjoy hours of epic battle action with this LEGO® Star Wars: The Clone Wars Armored Assault Tank (AAT) building set (75283). Both the body and the turret incorporate studs-out building techniques on brackets, which have become quite common even in smaller sets and sets intended for younger builders (this set is marked 7+). For those who are wondering, the blasters in Pearl Dark Gray that equip the two minifigures have been available from LEGO since 2015. One expression is a slight smile and a raised eyebrow, a common expression seen on her in the show, while the reverse shows a concerned or focused (but not angry) Ahsoka that is perhaps intended for when she is in battle. Whether you're a die-hard LEGO fan or just looking for a unique way to display your collection, this case is perfect for you!

The turret swings left to right, the main gun can be tilted and the side guns can be twisted up and down. LEGO components are dropped, heated, crushed, twisted and analysed to make sure they meet stringent global safety standards. At just 286 parts, the build itself is quite quick, and not really worth dwelling on in this review. From terms of screen accuracy, the tank head is far too wide, but with some modding, this can easily be fixed. The Clone Wars sets recreate various vehicles, characters, and locations from the Star Wars universe in which the Clone Wars existed.

This dark blue outfit is significantly different from the brown and dark red one we have had in minifigure form before, intended to depict her outfit from the Siege of Mandalore, the focus of the final arc of the season, and it’s a great likeness. Two battle droids with a green camo variant , Asoka herself and a clone trooper with Asoka markings (her division). It's nice to see these guys being included, though now that they've been in three sets their novelty is starting to wear off. The problem here is that on the real thing this is a very complicated shape with complex curvatures situated very far aft on the vehicle. Again, a battle droid will rattle around, but it’s good for posing for photography or larger MOC displays. But what got our young clone commander most excited was the 500st clone trooper variant that is decorated with Ashoka’s platoon colours.
