I’m not going to say too much, as I did do a full 30 minute review video on this book on my YouTube channel. I didn’t really like the middle of the book which I thought wasn’t very realistic given their relationship. Upon hearing the news of Tessa's father, he snaps back into reality and heads home to be there for his girl — who wants nothing to do with him. The conversation went something like this: "If I give you space that you are entitled to and clearly need because you're deranged, you HAVE to MARRY ME". He’s actually way more calm and collected and is starting to accept what happened in his early life.

But then again we are talking Hardin here, why would he ever do what's expected or what makes sense. As much as it was what the logical me said needed to happen, the illogical part of me couldn't help but feel like this new direction wasn't as captivating. Yeah I might have cringed a little too hearing myself saying that, but hell I just read close to 3000 pages of one direction based fanfiction, what do I really have left to be embarrassed about. We’d also seen the light dim from Tessa’s eyes bit by bit; after fights and betrayals and other terrible occurrences. It’s selfish and selfless all tied into one–in spite of his feelings towards Zed, he wants Tessa to have someone to lean on besides her other friends and family and thinks Zed is the right choice.Enganchan mucho, pueden conseguir que mucha gente empiece a leer, pero no tiene un contenido literario bueno ni destacable. Even his reaction to Tessa’s decisions and the fact that Ken and Karen are expecting a child are far better than they would have been once upon a time. Well done Anna friggin AMAZING books I will be reading again I can’t believe I just finished the series I feel lost right now but so happy at how it turned out .He’s apparently changing, becoming a better person while they work though these issues, and I suppose he is. At the beginning there were still angsty, irritating, oh no he cannot go that far , wow he actually did moments! In the After universe, "going away for a while" is like, 5 weeks and involves constant contact and lots of random sex as a means of "healing wounds" what even is that.
