sprayed a tester once on my hand and everybody around me loves it, men and women, as it fills the office, but the only thing it reminds me of is my body odor, can't wait to get home and scrub it off my hand. When Creed Aventus was first released it had a very heady Pineapple top note which was what people used to rave about and love, but more recent batches of it have lost somewhat this heady Pineapple note.
Aventus is a natural smelling and well blended, this is synthetic, rough, and not very well blended. Bought this about 5 months ago and first I didn't like it that much, but now it's one of my favorites. Although the first 30 minutes of this is a pretty harsh lemon cleaner scent, it's definetly worth every penny, and good compliment getter with around 5 sprays. Yes it has a very harsh opening, like hundred of lemons are thrown into your face but when it dries down it smells amazing, and it lasts forever.It projects well in the first 4 hours I would say, after that it's really very subtle to me, yet does remain on your clothes days afterwards. year ago I used it up in Marble Bar Australia 53deg Celsius temperature s and could still smell it on me at the end of the day, not so with this 2023 batch. Same sorta vibe, sure, but what makes Aventus Aventus is it's wet, airy, natural smelling citrus and woodiness. I can't help but think many of the people angry about the Aventus comparisons are the same people you'll find in that Aventus basenotes thread, talking about their attachment (i. I will keep using it in the hopes that it'll grow on me but so far, I think it is overrated and I think the bottle is OBNOXIOUS!
The smell from it was incredibly strong for hours after, and then died down to a still very noticeably and still strong scent. Club De Nuit is a bright floral-fruity fragrance that engages an upbeat accord of bergamot, grapefruit, peach and oranges. I suspect the main reason for the harsh opening is not because of poor quality ingredients, but due to how concentrated this stuff is. I've had mine for a few days now and it smelled fine a few days ago but suddenly it turned into something more dirty.
It's my belief that had Aventus not been invented first, this would be one of the highest-praised fragrances on the market.
