You’ll need 15 power moons to move on from the Metro Kingdom. Moons 1-9, 13, 21-23, 31 and 34 are the easiest to find to get you there. You’ll see an object below surrounded by spinning coins. Jump down and collect the object — a purse. Deliver that to Mayor Pauline as a birthday present, and she’ll give you a power moon. 58. Jammin’ in the Metro Kingdom Nintendo A maze-like area accessed by capturing the manhole cover and moving it out of the way. The area features revolving doors that move when hit with Cappy, Fire Piranha Plants, and Moon Shards required to obtain a Power Moon. When Scooter first met Junior, he wanted to fight him. But in " Scooter's Birthday!", he and Junior go to Goodman E. Cheeses’ to celebrate Scooter’s birthday, and tells Junior the birthday he got was better than his last birthday. For this moon, you have to get to the New Donk City Hall Interior. You can get here either from the New Donk City Hall Rooftop or from the Heliport (from there, you just cross the beams like you did while you were hunting the Mechawiggler). There’s really only one path through the interior, so you’ll end up passing this moon no matter which way you approach it. In the gallery above, we came in from the Heliport entrance.

Powering Up the Station: As part of the story, you'll find yourself working your way through the Power Station. At the end, use Cappy to clear the sludge in front of the two giant Piranha Plants and then defeat them both to receive a Power Moon.

Enter this pipe and make your way to the end of the section to receive a Power Moon. Using Mario to run across intricate areas is easiest, with Hammer Bros being good for jumping high. There’s a unique taxi on the east side of the street just north of the Main Street Entrance flag. You can capture it with Cappy. When you try to drive it, it takes you somewhere else. Use Cappy to make each picture land on the Power Moon icon to win a Moon for yourself. Bullet Billding: Head to location 47 on our map (turning east from the main central road) to find a glowing entrance that will take you to a new area. Inside, use the beams and avoid the Bullet Bills to make your way to the end of the area and grab the Power Moon.
