About this deal

Hello Sweet Freedom Team, Today may just be the first day of the rest of my life because I have just discovered you! As a Type 2 diabetic with a dangerous weakness for all things chocolate, I had resigned myself to a life of misery. I can ignore sweets, biscuits and cakes but chocolate has been a real struggle....until now. I am a volunteer driver and much of my work involves taking people shopping. I was idly browsing the shelves in one of my local (Harrogate) supermarkets and there it was, a jar of Choc Shot Hot Choc, beaming down at me. Nothing has ever jumped into my trolley with such speed so now I'm looking forward to experimenting with all your gorgeous-looking products. I may well become your Ambassador in Harrogate!' Yes! Fruit Syrup is made from 100% fruit with nothing added and is produced using no chemicals or enzymes. Is Sweet Freedom vegan? I would just like to encourage others who are struggling with weight loss and blood glucose levels. When I first started eating this way it was May of this year, my levels were between 6.5 and 8.0 and I weighed 11st 5lb and am 5ft 5ins tall, I know that perhaps doesn’t sound a lot but I was very uncomfortable in all of my clothes and just wanted to feel right. Anyway I have been eating low GL foods and am now 10st 3lbs and I feel great. I keep passing it on to friends because I know it works and I have had no hypos since I started.' It’s simply a game-changer when added to coffee(hot or cold), to quote one VERY satisfied customer " OMG, this in iced coffee is NEXT LEVEL!!!" Say goodbye to refined sugars and hello to a naturally sweetened alternative that also serves as a source of fibre. With only 13 kcal per teaspoon, it's a must have in every kitchen cupboard… soon to be one of your favourite treats 😇

Hey! I'm a serial low carber with an optional aversion to sugar and sugary foods dye to a strong line of type 2 diabetes in the family. I'm ALWAYS looking for sugar substitutes and recipe alternatives, and your Sweet Freedom products are amazing! My favourite so far is Sweet Freedom Dark over homemade, sugar and flour free coconut pancakes, with clotted cream. Less than 10g of carbs per serving - a taste sensation and a diabetic's dream! Can't wait to try the Choc Shot. Keep up the good work ladies!!!' My husband is diabetic, we have been using Sweet Freedom for 18 months. Since using this my husband's blood sugar has reduced to a really good level, it is nice to have something to use that works - thank you.' M ake no added sugar sauces, desserts, jams, chutneys, dressings, granola, custards, chocolate, ice cream / lollies. Hi, I love your Sweet Freedom product, it's so versatile. It allows sweetness in so many ways for my husband who is diabetic. I have made quite a few items from your recipe list, which are fantastic!' Omg I'm in love with your Sweet Freedom Choc Shots, they make a tasty quark mousse, and I use them all the time they have been a saviour to me on my healthy living journey. I have told all my friends about it and now they are hooked like me. My daughter who is diabetic is also in love with them. Thank you for having such an amazing tasty chocolate fix.' x

Sweet Freedom

Fruit sugar’ products are 100% crystalline fructose processed from sugar beet and surprisingly not fruit! Sweet Freedom has 23 grams of fructose per 100g; making it far lower in fructose than ‘fruit sugar’, honey and agave syrup (agave has approx 90g of fructose per 100g and honey around 40g.) Sweet Freedom contains only the naturally occurring sugars in the three fruits used, apples, grapes and carob.

It has 25% fewer calories than sugar, is sweeter and you can reduce the amount used gram for gram by around 25% (i.e. if your recipe calls for 100g of sugar try 75g). It also has a lower GL (Glycaemic Load) making it a better choice than sugar. How does it compare to honey? It's a refreshing departure from syrups loaded with unnecessary additives, preservatives, artificial sweeteners and all that nonsense! Yes, Fruit Syrup is made from 100% fruit with nothing added and is produced using no chemicals or enzymes.

Not only does Sweet Freedom RASPBERRY SYRUP care about your well-being, but it also cares for the planet. You won’t have noticed, but all our handy top-down squeezy bottles are now made with 30% recycled plastic and are, as they always have been, recyclable. This RASPBERRY SYRUP is a true gem for everyone seeking a natural and delicious, sweet and fruity everyday treat. With its delightful taste, versatile applications, and commitment to using the very best ingredients, it's no wonder customers are falling head over heels in love with this lush syrup… endless fruity possibilities! Others have praised its versatility, with comments such as, " An awesome addition to overnight oats", " Amazing with peanut butter!", and simply " It's lovely, and the grandkids love it so much."

Is it organic?

I am very pleased with the product and am spreading the word, I am diabetic and have used it in my cooking and no one noticed till I told them.' Dear Sweet Freedom I am delighted to have found you. I have bought several cases, as didn't know where to find you. I will take your little jar to the doctors as Sweet Freedom is suitable for diabetics.' At the heart of Sweet Freedom RASPBERRY SYRUP lies our simple blend of natural fruit extracts from apples and carob with a dash of natural raspberry flavour and colour (from beetroot, but don’t worry you don’t taste it!) Sweet Freedom Choc Shot 320gis 95% fat free, half the calories of solid Chocolate and 86% less fat. Why should I choose Sweet Freedom? The fruit used to make Sweet Freedom is as good as organic but without the organic status. But it is something the manufacturers are looking in to, although it has to come from their fruit producers. Is it raw?

fruit - just apples, grapes and carob and nothing else. No added colours, flavours or preservatives. Unlike many sweeteners no chemicals or enzymes are used in the production as Sweet Freedom is water extracted. It is produced in the UK in a nut free factory. But isn't fruit full of Fructose, which is bad?I was diagnosed with diabetes and due to this condition am unable to have sugar anymore in my cup of tea. I tried every sweetener on the market which always left an after taste. I was then recommended by a friend to try Sweet Freedom syrup, it did not leave an after taste and I was finally able to have a cup of tea that I enjoyed.' Xylitol is a polyalcohol, made from corn husks or birch tree chips sold under various brand names (Perfect Sweet etc); is chemically processed and produced mainly in China. *It has been found that Xylitol is poisonous to dogs and they should not be offered scraps of any home made treats with it! Can diabetics use it? It is a common myth that fruit is all fructose, each fruit has varying amounts some high, some low. In fact one of the benefits of Sweet Freedom is that it is very low in fructose having only 23g per 100g. By contrast, agave syrup has approx 90g per 100g, honey has around 40g and sugar has 50g per 100g.
