The spaceship is a highlight that will definitely appeal to younger LEGO fans, and if you are a 30-something parent then this is a great way to introduce your kids to the LEGO you likely grew up with.

Some people are really into old LEGO sets; some because they grew up with them, and others like them even if they were born later. Frankly, looks exactly like something my 8 year old self would have built with the pieces out of the grimy daycare lego box. As a LEGO Movie set, I can’t fault it, Benny’s established obsession with spaceships would definitely see him seeking out other retro minifigures.

But they didn’t have the ability to change enough parts to that colour and the grey versions were produced for sale.
